THE RELEASE
The Founder’s Cask is drawn from Cask 01, the first laid down by founders Michael McLaughlin and Will Fellowes, marking the beginning of The Outback Distilling Co.
Matured in a first-fill Oloroso cask seasoned for over 30 years, it develops depth and structure under the extreme climate of Western Queensland.
Individually numbered and finite. Once Cask 01 is gone, it will not be repeated.
The first chapter in a climate-driven whisky programme.
NOSE
Sweet ginger, honey syrup and sandalwood.
PALETTE
Warm stewed fruit, velvety almond and vanilla cream with gentle spice.
FINSIH
Lingering sweetness balanced by measured oak and subtle tannin.
